Unearthly

OH MY GOODNESS...
I JUST FINISHED READING ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF ALL TIME.
IT IS HONESTLY AMAZING!
Here are a few reasons why.....
1. It has an intriguing title that immediately pulls you in and makes you want to read it! It automatically gives a sense of mystery to the book. Me when I first got the book: "Hmm... does this mean that she is, like, not attached to the ground or something?"
2. Its so addicting! I couldn't take my eyes away from the page! I haven't found a book like that in a while, and I was really into it! I could feel all of Clara's emotions such as frustration, anger, sadness... It was an emotional roller coaster! Apparently, while I was reading in bed, mum had been talking to me for like, ten minutes, and I hadn't heard a word she said when she shook me on the shoulder! Also, the book was confiscated from me every night, because mum knew that the moment she left I would immediately turn the light back on and start reading again!
3. The font. I know that may sound weird, but trust me, the font matters. Its easy to read and clear, and spaced the perfect distance apart, making it much more fluent for reading!
4. Ok, this sounds even weirder, but I like the smell of the book! Haha, I know thats weird, but I have a habit of smelling books, so, you know, it matters to me! :) Comment if your the same!
ANYWAY! Enough of the chitter chatter.... heres the blurb and a picture of the book!
Wait, one more thing! There are 2 other books in the series called hallowed and Boundless. You read them in that order! Lucky I've got both of them sitting in my bookshelf so I can go straight onto the next one!!
Blurb....
In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees...
Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy.
Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.
As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?
Unearthly is a moving tale of love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your heart
